Confirmations
The questions that processes of the previous Spider ask you before they go on. Such a process stops at a point where a person has to say whether it may go on, and waits for an answer here. The page title reads Confirmations - Needs Oks.
These are not the tasks of this Spider's own processes: those are on My Tasks.
How to get there
- From the main menu: Spider › Confirmations.
- From a link to one confirmation: an address ending in
/needs-ok?workload=and its number opens this page with that confirmation open.
Permission
To open the page you need Member or View organization settings for the whole organization. To answer a confirmation, with Proceed or Stop, you need Member or Manage organization. Without that, a confirmation opens for reading only, with Cancel.
The list shows only the confirmations the previous Spider addresses to you, by your e-mail address.
The list
| Column | Shows |
|---|---|
| Name | The request that waits: its name, or its process with its number. |
| Process | The process of the previous Spider that asks. Click the header to sort on it. |
A click on a row opens it (see below). Its rows can't be selected, so the ribbon has only Refresh and Copy link, which copies the link to this page. See Lists that open on a click.
The page reads the previous Spider's address from the organization's forms, under Settings › Spider › Proxy Forms. Until one is set up, the list says No results found.
Commands
| Tab | Group | Command | What it does | Disabled when |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Home, List | View | Refresh | Reads the list again. | |
| Home | Share | Copy link | Copies the link to this page. |
Confirmation
A click on a question opens the Confirmation dialog: the request's name, its number (Request), and the Question the process asks. Answer it with one of the buttons:
- Proceed: the process goes on.
- Stop: the process stops.
- Cancel: closes the dialog without an answer. The process keeps waiting.
Proceed and Stop act at once, without asking again. The dialog then closes, and the list is read again.
A row that asks you to check what was read from a document (an OCR review) doesn't open a dialog. It opens the previous Spider's own review page instead, in the same browser tab.
A confirmation's own page
An older link, ending in /needs-ok/ and the confirmation's number, shows the same question as a page of its own, titled with the process. It has the same Proceed, Stop and Cancel. Each of them takes you back to the Confirmations list.
